I am installing a travertine blacksplash in my kitchen. The tiles are 3x6 and I am using 1/8th grout joints. I also am putting a strip of 1x1 travertine and glass tiles in backsplash. I plan to fill in the natural holes in the travertine tile. I have 2 questions:
(1) Should I use sanded or unsanded grout?
(2) I've read a lot of different information about filling in the holes. Should I seal, install, and then grout the joints and fill in the holes? Or is there a better way to fill in the holes?
Thanks a lot for your insights!
